Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR)
ARC supports TNR and the care of Community Cats and is an member of the Feral Friends Network with Alley Cat Allies. Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), is the humane approach to addressing community cat populations and it works. It saves cats’ lives and is effective. TNR improves the lives of cats, addresses community concerns, reduces complaints about cats, and stops the breeding cycle. TNR improves the co-existence between outdoor cats and humans in our shared environment. This is why so many cities are adopting it.
We love our ferals and colony cats! However, we cannot remove or take in/relocate your feral cats for you. We can help you by sharing any information we have.
We are available to assist with instruction of proper procedures for trapping community cats and/or kittens, and the care following surgery. We do rely on the community to assist in the care and transport of these animals. There are low cost/no cost TNR options in Spartanburg, Anderson, and Greenville Counties. Please email actuallyrescuingcats@gmail.com for further information.
